UC Berkeley

This is my last semester here at UC Berkeley, and looking back on the past few years, I am so very glad to have come here.  Though it sounds trite and clichéd, Berkeley has been such an important part of my journey so far.  I've grown so much as a person during my years here, in ways I would never have expected.

Berkeley has given me the chance to help lead projects, like the Suitcase Clinic 6th Annual Berkeley Community Run/Walk, that are so much bigger than myself.  Berkeley has given me the opportunity to engage people I would never have met outside of the University.

I am so thankful for the many people who helped me achieve a Berkeley education.  Through both positive and negative experiences (doesn't Dostoevsky suggest that suffering is necessarily for growth and redemption?), I have grown so much.  I hope to make the world a better place, even if only in a very small way, using the education I was fortunate enough to receive here.
